These are $10 each plus shipping. Let me know if you would like one and what colors. They would be nice for a church Thanksgiving dinner or your own meal at home.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SERGEY

Sergey turned 15 today, he has 1 year to get adopted. At 16 he most likely will be out of time and live the rest of his life in a mental institution. WHY?? Because his legs don't work. Please pray we can get him listed and get him out and into a forever family!!

Apples

So my friend Natalie Colyer is in Ukraine and while there found men in one institution that could use fresh fruit. We discussed it and thought we could give an apple or an apple tree/fruit trees. The directors say they have room for up to 200 trees. If you have $5 - $10 and want to help a group of men living in conditions we cannot imagine, check this out. Here is her blog: http://blogging4theleastofthese.tumblr.com/ The men were happy to get a banana, think what other fresh fruit could do for them.
Where they hang out all day:
Just how much they need help:
These men own nothing and cannot leave, they cannot help themselves. They have been forgotten . We can help.

Psalm 82:3

Vindicate the weak and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute. Psalm 82:3

More Background, God's Guiding

We have always said we want God to use us in any way he desires. We started doing foster care back 9 years ago. Then we thought the Lord initially was saying Go Overseas for missions work. A few more special needs diagnosis later for the kids and that was put on hold. So I enrolled in Bible college ( felt the need to be equipped and grounded) and my teen girls joined me for classes. More prayer and searching his direction. We have always felt drawn to the concept of the mission field is first your own home and where God plants you. Between foster care, domestic adoption and advocating for the special kids overseas it's so good to see his hand guiding.
